Guido Giachetti — Université Paris Cergy CY # REPLICA METHODS IN MEASUREMENT INDUCED PHASE TRANSITIONS # Monitored quantum dynamics, i.e. the dynamics of an open quantum system subjected to external measurements, has been extensively studied in the recent years. In particular, the competition between unitary dynamics and monitoringit can give rise to measurement induced phase transitions (MIPTs), which can be understood in terms of the replica formalism in terms of a breaking of the permutational symmetry. The seminar will focus exact results obtained for the monitored Brownian Heisenberg (arXiv:2306.12166), showing how the presence of a transition can vanish as one takes the replica limit. Finally, some preliminary results on monitored random circuits will be presented.
