Abstract
Starting from examples from the social and economical sciences
the seminar will illustrate the relevance of the inverse problem.
The existence and unicity of its solution leads naturally to the
investigation of correlation inequalities. The proofs of some inequalities
of type I and II will be shown for different classes of models, including
classical and quantum spin glasses, and models on the Nishimori line.
