Clustering in real & simulated galaxy distribution
The characterization of the galaxy clustering properties in the universe
is one of the most interessant and controversial issue in modern cosmology.
The recent availability of new galaxy surveys allows a more complete statistical
description of the local Universe up to ~ 100 Mpc. Here I will review the
status of the field and present the results from the new data. The latter
will be compared with the N-body simulations of structure formation.
